I am a travel writer and photographer. Along with my husband Jeff, we are Albom Adventures, a blog ( capturing the essence of travel through photography.

You have an unlimited travel budget for 24 hours. Give me your itinerary.
Unfortunately, I live in New Zealand so unless I am going to Australia or a Pacific Island, I have used it all on airtime. Based on that, I would head to Tahiti or Aitutaki Lagoon in the Cook Islands.

You have won the lottery. Tell me where you want to live.
Lucky for me, I am already there, in New Zealand. Of course, I would move house to a clifftop in Auckland.

Your favorite travel resource on the web?
Other travel bloggers.

What is the superpower you most want?
Teleportation. If I can’t have that one, I would just like to be able to sleep comfortably on aeroplanes.

What’s fuels your passion for travel?
Meeting people and learning about other cultures.

Why do you write?
I started writing for family and friends; now I write to share my experiences.

Do your family and friends support your traveling escapades?
They are used to them. I know some members of my family still roll their eyes.

Can you imagine life without travel?
Two years ago I had a medical issue that prevented me from flying, so yes I can. That is why I love to read other travel blogs. If I cannot go there, at least I can experience travel life through the eyes of someone else.

If you were not travelling what would you be doing instead?

Single thing you miss most from high school?
My friends. As an expat, I rarely see them.

Do you have any advice or tips for aspiring travellers?
Just do it.

Your single most treasured personal possession.
Not a possession, but it’s my family.

Language you’d most like to be fluent in?

Funniest person you have ever met or seen in person.
My nephew, it just comes naturally to him.

Can you tell us about your next adventure
We are planning three months in South America as soon as my daughter’s injury is cleared to travel. Although, I may be headed to Thailand first to have some dental work done.
